Application and Wear
I found that both lipsticks were easy to apply. The liquid lipstick comes in a tube with a wand which makes application very simple and precise. It applies wet and dries extremely matte which is super drying. Ruby Woo comes in a standard lipstick bullet which isn't as precise. This lipstick is much more creamier than the liquid lipstick which means it's not as drying and doesn't show any fine lines unlike the liquid lipstick. The super matte liquid lipstick isn't long lasting and comes off when one eats or drinks. Ruby Woo can last a long time even after eating or drinking.
Colour and Scent
Both lipsticks are almost identical in appearance. The liquid lipstick is slightly more blue toned and vibrant than Ruby Woo. They are more alike in real life than they appear in photographs. PS Liquid lipstick is scentless whereas MAC Ruby Woo has the signature vanilla cupcake scent of MAC lipsticks.
Price and Availability
The biggest difference between these almost identical lipsticks is the price. The liquid lipstick costs €2.50 from Primark/Penneys. Ruby Woo retails at €20 and is available from MAC stores and counters and online.
